I have always, always, wanted to live near a lake. As a natural-born Virgo, I invariably figured myself for an earth sign, but when I look at that slate gray water weaving and rising across its own reaches, it speaks to my heart in a way that no other thing on this earth does.

I dream in water; poetic, never stagnant, deep in its emotions, and fearsome in its ferocity. The funny thing is, I'm never drawn to the depth, only knowing always that it is there. Instead, I like to look across the surface, to see that body of water span infinitely, without limits, without goals, without any land in sight.
